Another doc. to see: Manufactured Lanscapes - a documentary about the work of Edward Burtynsky. Burtynsky is the person behind such stunning and alarming images of the natural world after industry intervenes that you’ve probably seen somewhere or another:

Manufactured Landscapes follows Burtynsky throughout the world, most prominently in China and Bangldesh, to the end-stops (computer recycling plants, shipyards, factories) for many of the raw materials whose extraction he has so beautifully documented. The moving images and soundscape of the film give Burtynsky’s work further context, allowing for the individual viewer to draw a connection between his or her own consumption and such consumption’s impact on the global world around us. I highly recommend watching this!
